Estia Health CFO Steve Lemlin (above) has announced his retirement after almost six years in the role. CEO Sean Bilton (pictured), who replaced Ian Thorley in April, thanked Steve for his assistance in the CEO transition as well as his “unerring dedication and incredible contribution to the company”.
“Steve joined Estia Health at a challenging time and worked closely with the Estia Health Board and CEOs, Norah Barlow and Ian Thorley respectively, to re-set the business. “Steve has established a strong finance function and has been an important part of my transition into the CEO role,” he said.
Chairman Gary Weiss added that Steve has left Estia in “a healthy state”.
“His extensive experience and financial acumen have been highly valued by the Board, and we wish him all the best for the future,” he said.
Steve will remain with Estia until a successor is found, with the search expected to conclude by the end of the 2023 financial year. The company posted a $52.4 million Net Loss After Tax this year, ascribed to amortisation charges and the impact of COVID-19.
