Our third largest village operator will start construction on an $11M expansion of its Somerton Park village, 12km south west of the Adelaide CBD, with 35 new two- and three-bedroom homes priced from around $580K.

Stockland acquired the village back in June 2015 as part of a portfolio of eight villages it purchased from Masonic Homes.

A $27M expansion is already underway at Stockland’s Lightsview Retirement Village in Northgate, 8km from the city, with 33 new homes completed and a new clubhouse due to be finished soon.

SA has one of the highest rates of over-65’s living in retirement villages at 8.5%, with 11 of Stockland’s 65 villages in and around Adelaide.
