The Best 30 Years TV series to present value proposition of community

We are half way through producing our 5 part TV series The Best 30 Years. One of the objectives is to demonstrate the value proposition of community. The photo above was in Ingenia’s Latitude One community in Port Stevens where 12 blokes meet for an intense (but friendly) darts competition twice a week. Another objective is to finally explain the difference between retirement villages and aged care. This photo was taken in Mercy’s Belrose (Sydney) aged care home. The script was co-written by us at DCM and Gretel Killeen, who we picked for her humour and deep understanding of the ageing process. It is a massive venture in that we have more than 20 ageing experts like geriatricains, social pschologists and even podiatrists featured. So far we have also interviewed more than 60 residents. The series goes to air nationally on the NINE Network – which is great – but it will live forever on our  villages.com.au and agedcare101.com.au, with 180,000 visits a month from actual buyers, as well as YouTube and sponsor social media.
