Ex-RetireAustralia CEO Tim Russell is believed to be finalising his re-entry to the village sector with both an equity partner and projects in place.
His colleague of eight years Mark Taylor will likely be joining him.
Russell created Meridian in 2006 to build a significant village operator. It morphed in to RetireAustralia, survived the GFC when most other didnt and grew to be our fourth largest operator. It was acquired by NZ Super and NZ asset manager Infratil in December 2014.
He departed RetireAustralia 15 months ago to create Five Good Friends, a disruptive home services web portal. It was launched quietly in the Brisbane area about six weeks ago.
