Toowoomba Regional Council finds land for additional aged care services

Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC) has identified land for additional aged care services sought by the Yarraman Business Group.

TRC Planning and Development Committee Chair, Councillor Megan O’Hara Sullivan, said she was pleased to be able to identify a potential site for a new facility in Yarraman.

“While no formal proposals have been put forward, we support the group’s request to conduct a market sounding exercise to gauge interest from commercial providers,” she said.

“A new facility would not only support aged residents but would also increase employment opportunities for locals.”

Yarraman is a rural town 118km north of Toowoomba.
