The South Australian Not For Profit aged care, retirement living and home care provider has announced the appointment of senior executive Tracey Scott and legal practitioner Scott Long.

Tracey has more than two decades’ experience on boards and committees in the Not For Profit and Government sectors including as Deputy Chair and Treasurer of SIDS and Kids NT and Treasurer of Nightcliff Community (part of Bendigo Bank Community). Tracey is also a member of SA’s Independent Commission Against Corruption’s Risk and Audit Committee.

She has held long-standing executive and non-executive roles with the Department of Treasury and Finance in South Australia and Northern Territory, including the position of Executive Director Financial Management Reporting and Policy and serving as SA Lotteries Commissioner.

Scott has an extensive background in regulation, corporate governance and commercial law. He has undertaken senior leadership roles in private firms and companies and been in-house general counsel across sectors spanning defence and higher education, including at the University of Adelaide.

Now a Director at PMDW, Scott's focus includes commercial transactions, procurement, technology, software, licencing, compliance, insurance, industrial relations and dispute resolution. He was previously an Advisory Board Member with the University of Adelaide Law School and served as Chair of the Elizabeth Bowey Lodge Foundation responsible for managing funds for an NDIS Not For Profit organisation.

The appointments come after last month ACH Group revealed a new strategy, 'Shaping Tomorrow, Together', which ACH Group CEO Linda Feldt communicated to staff across 15 sites earlier this year.

From 1 December 2023, a majority of aged care provider board members were required to be non-executive directors.
