The former Road Minister The Hon Luke Donnellan MP has been awarded the new ministerial portfolio – along with Child Protection – which has been created to “give a greater voice” to the state’s carers according to Premier Daniel Andrews.
It is estimated around 107,000 Victorians are living with dementia, many at home supported by carers.
