Co-funded by the Not For Profit and the Federal Government, Juniper Gerdewoonem (‘Juniper among the Boab Trees’) in Kununurra has added a new building with 36 aged care beds and four overnight respite beds next to the town’s hospital. The opening is the latest for the Uniting Church-run provider which is aiming to double its aged care and home care capacity across WA. Just two weeks ago, Juniper launched 40 new retirement apartments at its co-located Elimatta site in Perth.
