As we reported here, the aged care provider purchased the 5,473sqm site at Landcorp’s Claremont on the Park development, 9km west of the Perth CBD, in March last year. The Queenslea will offer fully serviced apartments for seniors or people with a disability plus an 80-place childcare centre and 120 aged care beds after the development was approved last month. Founded in 2014, Oryx is a partnership between Nita Peploe, Toby Browne-Cooper and James Turnbull. Their first development transformed the eight-storey Richardson Hotel in Perth into a luxury aged care facility.
