Veteran WA village operative and local Retirement Living Committee chairperson Stephen Kenney reports that WA village sales are ‘bubbling along’ but not exciting, despite increasing consumer interest. As the local RLC chairman his big task is to get seniors housing ‘embedded’ in local government planning to create middle ring land availability.

Village valuations have ‘moved off the bottom’ and he is experiencing new players and new money wanting in on the sector if the land is available. Traditional players are also moving such as Masonic Care buying Everard Yeo’s Glengarry village and other Not for Profits wanting to expand.
