Veteran village marketing man Wayne Rogers has accepted his clients offer to acquire a prime Derwent river frontage (Hobart) to develop an affordable housing manufactured home estate comprising 120 units, 90 with river views.
Wayne has been advising St Anns Homes, Tasmanias first aged care operator, in their successful retirement village developments. They liked his vision but asked him to put his money on the table which he has done, establishing iRetire Living brand to develop the project. With Council approval just attained they have already sold three homes at around $245,000 for two bedrooms.
Wayne was responsible for the sales growth of the original pioneering Primelife village portfolio (now Lend Lease). The irony is that his first personal development is not a retirement village but a manufactured home estate.
