Angus Kukura, the former General Manager Development, Sales & Marketing, at Arcadia, tells the Westpac Conversations in Melbourne how he sees retirement living in the future.
Melbourne-based Amicum, which acts as a broker and manager for entrants in retirement living and aged care, said there will be new entrants into the sector with infill developments of retirement villages (development on vacant or under-utilised land in existing urban areas).
“I am working with a handful of community-based faith-based organisations that have been sitting on land for 20 to 30 years, which has become gentrified, and now almost inner city, and are looking at future income streams and they have been convinced that retirement villages can provide that in perpetuity,” he said.
Check out what else Angus says about the future of retirement living in this captivating video with DCM Group CEO Chris Baynes.
