The Jayco Conquest DC motorhomes have spent more than 2,700 days of touring Australia since the land lease operator introduced it for residents in September 2021.
The longest trip for a GemLife resident has been 62 days and the furthest distance travelled is just over 11,000km.
“Travel is a big passion of our homeowners who are always looking to experience new places and attractions throughout this beautiful country. The Explore by GemLife motorhomes allow them to do it without the hassle and expense of ownership,” GemLife Director and CEO Adrian Puljich said.
The ground-breaking initiative is designed to debunk any notion that residents of GemLife land lease communities are imprisoned in their gated community.
The Explore been featured on TV travel and caravanning show, On Tour with Allan Border.
“Allan took out an eye-catching Explore motorhome for just over a week,” said Adrian.
GemLife has four Jayco Conquest DX motorhomes with homeowners being charged $150 per night.
